Holiday Bong hits.
Great Title I think..
Well pot and holidays is a great combo, you get high, get the munchies and then eat leftovers. I remember when I was a teen. We would go to my grandparents house for every holiday, and well my grandmother would cook for 50, even though there was my family of 4, my aunts family of five, and my uncle and his wife. Well my cousin and I would kinda sneak off and spark one outside their house, and chill for a while.. when it was time for dinner, we would eat, and eat and eat somemore.. our families would think taht we were just growing boys in our teen years, but nope it was all about the munchies. Then of course my grandmother would send us home with enough food to last for weeks.. but my friends and I would always smoke some, get back in the house, and finish off the food in a day or so..
To this day my parents still think that I totally loved my grandmothers cooking. Sure it was great, but damn if not for the weed, I would never have ate as much as I did.. The funny thing to me is that from the age of 14 I don’t really remember much about the holidays at my families. My cousin and I still joke about not knowing what was going on..
When I went to my in-laws last week for thanksgiving I kept thinking, damn I would soo love to spark up a dube and eat. One problem is my wife’s cousin is a cop, and is staunch against any kind of drug even weed.. Yet he drinks like a pro.. Crazy shit..
well that is what the holidays meant to me..
More holiday smoking stories coming as I remember them

You know, being a pot smoker could have been a good thing for me during the holidays, I realize that now that I read your experiences with chowing down at the holidays. My mother absolutely required attendance at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the ‘clean plate’ rule was part of the package. Of course, I had few problems with that, I have always liked to eat.
One thanksgiving, however, herbal stimulation could have come in handy. I was dating a girl, not particularly seriously as I thought, although this holiday made me realize that she was on another track in our relationship.
I had told the girl that I would come by to see her in the afternoon, after dinner with my mother. Much to my surprise, when I arrived at her house, she and her parents had waited their dinner on me, and expected me to eat. Damn, that took a superhuman effort, after ‘doing the right thing’ at my mother’s, I now had to clean my plate a second time. Maybe weed could have revived my appetite. I was swollen tight as a tick by the time I waddled away from that table, you better believe. *Groan*
I let that relationship sort of fade away afterwards.
