I’m Back
Damn busy boy is me…
I don’t know if it is just me, but I do feel a twinge of pain in my stomach when I see a huge pot bust. When I see the seizures on TV about how much weed is taken off the streets I have a moment of silence for what could have been. Just seeing all those packages there, makes me wanna cry like a child.. I have never purchased such a large quantity in my life.. But seeing thousands of pounds in a room with police looking all proud kills me. What do they do with it?? I know keeping it for evidence, but what do they do after?? Do the cops get to split it up with the lawyers and judges?? Do they burn it?? If they do can I be the guy who puts it in the fire?? I would not even take a pay check for that job.. I was reading how the State of Washington seized 135,323 plants. One stat in the article made me smile “Marijuana in the 1960s averaged between 1 and 3 percent THC content. THC levels in recent years routinely range between 10 and 25 percent” that is awsome.. more bang for the buck.. but it went up in smoke so to say.. In Nashville last week 722 pounds.. It was soo close to me.. I am still mourning the loss… In May the Mounties seized the equivilent of 7000 joints.. I crying shame.. 7000 joints, do they know how long that would last me.. In Phoenix last week somewhere between 7-9 thousand pounds.. And all the times I was jonsing in my life, these seizures are upsetting..
Peace and Smiles…

From one pothead to another.. I agree with you whole heartedly. It hurts to see all that good stuff go to waste. Here I am scrounging for leftover shake and residue when all that can go to all the needy pothead’s out there.
Smoke and be happy!

Don’t worry. Big busts like that are highly publicized because they’re the exception to the norm. The norm is, the stuff gets to you and everyone’s happy, even the cops, since it frees them up to do real policework solving real crimes. Think of it as vegetables lost to spoilage; a certain amount of it is inevitable, but it’s usually an insignificant amount.

see, if i would be an officer… maybe i would misstate some facts for the report… i mean 722 pounds or 227, where is the difference?
