Its a damn shame
Well the Willie Nelson getting busted thing is quite upsetting. I saw the picture the other day, and almost cried at the waste of the weed. Ok the shrooms were not too pleasant either, but it has been a while.Â
 I wish we could finally get some folks off their high horeses and get pot legal.. I wish I had more time to write today, that is all I got.

I was always in the “I don’t care if it’s legal or not” camp until I tried it. I think that if I were running the country, given the choice between pot and alcohol, alcohol is the far more dangerous between the two. If alcohol’s legal, pot should be legal.

Besides from how I resent the governement taking on the role of a strict (murderously so) parent it simply does not work. In an annual report done by the European Union 2005 it is revealed that cannabis use, both heavy and light, is lower among young people in Holland where cannabis is semi-legal, than in England, Spain, Germany, Ireland etc. where cannabis is illegal. Over all the drug problem in Holland is similar to the rest of Europe even though junkies from rest of the continent flock to Holland due to its laise-faire attitude towards personal drug use.
